home

i wake and hear the completeness of nothing

i breathe it’s beautiful

a blue bell’s whip and echo wakes the valley
while the air’s virgin crispness wakes my naked skin

bless’ed morning, home, and me

hand on my shoulder, lips
on my neck, words
in my ear, i have
all of all’s beauty, here

  1. Highlights the difference between being alone and being lonely. I haven’t got the youth or the flexibility to contemplate planting my lips on my neck, but I find the idea disturbingly arousing!
